Protecting your Steam Account

1) Friends - If someone That claims to be a Valve Employee Ignore him. Valve doesn't need your Password, they already have it and don't need to ask you for it.

2) Keyloggers - i'm not a hacker, but if a person asks you to download a few files that you are UNFAMILIR WITH don't download it. These file will gather your information and send it to the author, and it gets better. FUCKS up your computer. formating is the only way

3) Sharing - Don't share your Steam Account. Somewhere down the road your account will get compromised out of a few ways; the other will Give away the information or download a Keylogger. Hack and Get VAC banned or Reset everything to his own. New Password, New Email Address. And After that your Screw and not much you can do about that As far as i am aware

dude i got at least 4 steam accounts jacked... i have no idea why T_T;;
i try to log in one day and its all changed

haha some kid tried to do that to me
i told him ill give him my info if he gives me a subsitute steam id while he does his check up or somethign Very Happy

When that happends i usually give em fake informationo like for example

Account name: Fuck

Password: yourself
